Can I use a scientific calculator during the CLEP College Mathematics test?
Test takers cannot bring their own calculators to the CLEP College Mathematics Test. A calculator is built into the test-taking software to use during the exam.
How is the CLEP College Mathematics Scored?
You’ll receive two exam scores for the College Mathematics CLEP: a raw score and a scaled score. Scaled scores range from 20 to 80. Your raw score is calculated based on how many answers you get right. There is no penalty for wrong answers, so guessing is encouraged. Multiple choice exams are scored by a computer.
