How much credit can I earn for a CLEP Exam?
Each college and university has its own CLEP policy, and each exam is weighed differently. Still, the American Council on Education (ACE) recommends that schools award 3 semester hours of college credit for a score of 50 or higher on the Introductory Psychology CLEP exam.
How is the Introductory Psychology CLEP test scored?
A scaled score is calculated, based on multiple-choice questions and essay scores, that range from 20 to 80. The student then earns an A, B, C, or D based on this score. The letter grade is applied to your college course equivalent.
